You play as a healer in the village of Wychwell. You must save your patients from the everyday depredations of a hard life and more as the village succumbs to a mysterious disease. What will you do?

Instructions:

Consult your patients, talk to them, observe them, see what can be seen and hear what can be heard. With this knowledge use the old healer's tome handed down from generation to generation of village healers and give the correct treatment.

Theme:

This game is part of the 2026 GameDevTv Game Jam with the theme: Connections. As such the core mechanic is finding connections between patients symptoms both discovered through the conversation in the consultation and visually observed and then matching these with the entries in the old tome of healing. 

There is also a meta gameplay loop which is part of the overall story of saving the village and you must solve the overall connection of what connects some of your patients' illness.

I intended for there to be a visual map which would show the player on the map where each patient lived or was connected to, but due to the game jam time pressure this feature was cut.
